this is yet another compilation that demonstrates that each the Beatles continued on after the breakup, and it's interesting when you listen to these one after the other as a whole, that you realize that, as far as we know, the Beatles were the most tightest music making unit in the face of the earth. there was something mystical about the fact that
despite Lennon & McCartney being the sole musical composers,
that it took all four of them to make the whole thing happen. each of the four were linked to the creation
of all this great music, without regard to how more virtuous one member may have been in some areas--each one had their own unique thing to offer musically or non-musically.
The Beatles, in the Anthologies, admit that without these four individuals being together
on a mission to make music, all these great songs--the whole Beatles experience/phenomenon would not have taken place.
so being the powerful collective nature of the group, they had only been broken up a short while before most
of these tracks were recorded, and if you view these tracks in the sense that though they were
no longer together in a room making music, they were still nonetheless linked on another level.
